Artist's Statement: In my work I am interested in exploring the behaviour of materials in order to create a tension between the two states of order and chaos. My engagement with process is intuitive and I experiment with precious and non-precious materials in a fluid and adventurous way. I continually try to find something new in order to discover how the varied components interact and co-exist with their opposites. My purpose is to produce work that has a tactile quality so that the viewer can experience sensuous sensations.
